I was starting my day at work and I started to read some articles on stuff

I came across this article Off-duty cop punished for stopping tagger. It reports that the mother of the child said that he was doing no harm as the paint would dissolve. Human waste will also brake down but it doesn't mean that I want to see it on the side of the road. What the child did was wrong, simple as that and he got caught. If the officer had abused the child then yes I could understand the reason for the complaint.

I have to wonder what the world is coming to when any excuse will do. Now this police officer has a black mark against his name for doing his job. Who would want to go to work when you could get in serious trouble for doing your job?

Would you want to work after hours if it meant that you where going to get in serious trouble (and I'm not talking about just from the wife)?

I can see that there is a reason for needing to police the police but when they get in trouble for working then there is something seriously wrong that needs to be addressed.
