OK I have been playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for about 15 hours and I am now ranked 240 with a setting of veteran.

Damn I love this game. It is better than I had hoped it would be. I have already uploaded some screen shots of the beta when I was playing that with my mate. I will be uploading some more very soon.

I have also started working on a real weapons mod for the game and will be adding this under the download section of the site just as soon as its complete and tested.

We have also decided to start modding the game. 1st step is to mod a new weapon and the MP7 might be the first weapon that we start on as we work towards a complete new MOD for this game.

That being said. When DOOM came out in the early 90s it was the first game and it provided a new way of playing the game. Then came DOOM 2 and eventually DOOM 3. Doom was good but then came Quake. Quake was better multi player.

After Quake eventually Half life came out in 1997 and was voted best game of the year for a long time.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is doing to First Person Shooters what doom did to gaming. It has completely changed the way that you play a FPS. No more are you going through the game just to get to the end. The other people that I have talked to that have played the game have done a lot of things differently. I look froward to playing the game a different manor next time.

I have been able to scrape together two machines that are able to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and the multi player is good. I am going to start playing online as well soon. The only complainant I have is that there are very few maps that only two people can play on that will not take all week just to get through 60 frags.

If you where thinking of getting this game but where not sure then do not think about it anymore. GO AND GET IT NOW. I am already thinking of getting some more hardware so that I can see what it looks like with more detail.
